Looking for Surplus Wool Military Blankets, any suggestions?

As the title says any ideas on websites with surplus wool blankets for a good price? Also what are the better wool blankets to get or the ones to avoid?

Thanks

Check with Cheaper than dirt!, I bought some Slovakian surplus ones last year, the wife made quilts out of, very warm and heavy. these Italian ones look pretty good.

I've bought from these guys before... I love the 100% wool blankets and they last a lifetime. The blended ones are okay - but nothing like a 100% wool 5 lber 60x80 ish. Worth it to pay extra for the think wool ones imo.

70/30 wool blend 60x80 -

I have one of those Italian ones posted above - it is okay - but if you can find the old/original US military blankets, they are 2x as thick as most of what I see available these days. I think the WWII blankets are the ones to get - but many times too pricey.

100% wool blankets... http://www.gr8gear.com/catalog/Bunk-...nket-Near-New/

I'd think about grabbing a couple of these for the price - 80% wool ones... http://www.northwestwoolen.com/institutional.htm

Ehhh... not so great. I have a 140 Lumen light that fits on my keychain. Unless you want to blugeon someone to death with your light, that thing is an oversized, overweight monster of a light with relatively poor output when compared to modern lights.

Harbor freight runs specials on them occasionally. Be patient and you can get some cheap ones. I picked up five of them with a coupon someone posted here last year.
